A Large-Scale Live-Action Musical in Shanxi Province, China
This live-action musical ‘’Old Castle” uses LX1000 BSWF 4in1 LED Profile moving light, LB380 digital moving lamp beam, LW500 LED zoom moving wash, LED outdoor waterproof wash OD648, OD168, OD1910, OD504Z, and strobe waterproof light ST1080, total about 1000 sets of various LQE intelligent lighting fixtures brought wonderful performances to local tourists. The quality and reliability of LQE lamps also left a deep impression on the organizers and audience.
Zhou Wen, the head of the outdoor theater troupe, said that ”when performing large-scale outdoor dramas, the effect of stage lighting is what he is most worried about. Why? Because outdoor live theater performances have a large venue, buildings of different heights, and water bodies, which requires the overall solution of lighting fixtures to be flexible and diverse, with better light quality and CRI.

Whether it is the full effect of his signature beam light or the 1000w high-power framing surface light, no matter where my actors are, even if they are 100m away, there is no problem.
There is another more important factor. The reason why we use LQE is that we need durable lamps. Since we are in a tourist attraction, outdoor performances are part of the tourist program. The high-intensity use of lamps every night is a big challenge for the performance and durability of the lights. This cannot be known in a day or two, so the LQE team provided me with a lot of outdoor cases for reference, and also allowed me to visit other domestic projects. Many outdoor lamps are always on every night. After 3-4 years, the effect is still very good, even better than some new lamps. This eliminated my original concerns. In the long run, it also saved the purchase cost of lamps. Next time we upgrade lamps, we will consider LQE, not only for their price, but also for their quality and service.”
